HSE new nuclear reactor design assessment sample e-bulletin

Welcome to the first edition of the Joint Regulators' e-Bulletin.

The Nuclear Regulators (the Health and Safety Executive and the Environment Agency) have developed a Generic Design Assessment (GDA) process for new nuclear power stations. This e-Bulletin provides you with an update of the latest news and information on the GDA process so far.

 

NUCLEAR REGULATORS START GENERIC DESIGN ASSESSMENT

The Regulators have now started the Generic Design Assessment process for four designs. The Safety, Security and Environmental Reports for these designs can be viewed by clicking on the web link below.

GENERIC DESIGN ASSESSMENT - NEW WEBSITE LAUNCHED

The Nuclear Regulators (Health and Safety Executive and Environment Agency) are working together on the Generic Design Assessment of new nuclear power stations. To increase public awareness of the assessment process, the Regulators have launched a joint website.
