Graham is currently a freelance Events Industry Professional dealing with all aspects of Event Management. This includes all Health and Safety aspects, documentation, crowd dynamics, conception and production.
Recently was a local Authority Events Production Manager, which entailed the planning and delivery of a wide range of activity, both within the organisations and giving support and guidance to community organisations and private event deliverers. This ranged from major sporting events, outdoor concerts, national television productions and local festivals. Attendances were anywhere between 150000 to 50. Planning aspects include crowd management and dynamics, risk assessment, financial planning, logistics and documentation production.
Previous to this, Graham was the Chief Swimming Coach for an Authority swimming programme. He coached swimmers to the highest competitive level, which included an Olympian in 1992, and many National team members at different levels. He was also part of the National coaching panel, and has represented England as a coach. His background previous to swimming was in engineering.
Graham’s outside interests include watching and participating in various sports, working on his house and garden.
With Graham’s experience in the above fields, NEBOSH, IOSH qualifications and planning experience, he can contribute in a robust, positive and timely fashion to the Myths surrounding Health and Safety.
