The Road Distribution Action Group (RDAG) started up in 2002, and held its last meeting in its current form in November 2010.
The group was a partnership between employer groups, trade unions and regulators, with the aim to improve health and safety at work and reduce accidents and ill health in the road haulage and distribution industry by effective liaison between enforcing authorities, employer and employee representatives and others with relevant knowledge and expertise on matters affecting the industry.
We are continuing to work closely with industry, and we hope this will lead to a new HSE industry forum for the Logistics Sector in early 2012. This page will be updated regularly over the next few months as this work develops.
RDAG worked on a number of topics through specific topic groups. Outcomes from these working groups can be found below.
