HSE scenarios - Health and safety in 2017
Scenario axes
The health and safety scenarios were built around a scenario cross. The axes of the scenario cross, chosen by a group of health and safety professionals in a workshop, reflect:
- UK global competitiveness - on the horizontal
- People's attitudes to personal responsibility, new technology and management of risk - on the vertical
Scenario reports
The scenarios were named to reflect key features of each possible future.
For further explanation of the axes see Research Report RR600.
