HSE is very happy to be working in partnership with LG Regulation (formerly LACORS), the local authorities and the hairdressing industry to cut out dermatitis.
In their own words... "Habia is the government approved standards setting body for hair, beauty, nails, spa therapy, barbering and African-Caribbean hairdressing, and creates the standards that form the basis of all qualifications including NVQs, SVQs and Apprenticeships, as well as the codes of practice. It is currently running a programme with partners in the hairdressing industry to raise awareness of dermatitis and how it can be prevented."
In their own words... "The Federation exists to advance, defend, help, promote, protect and represent the interests of members in every possible way. We are very active in the employment field, which also encompasses health and safety issues and a guide to help members comply with their H&S responsibilities can be found on our website."
