August 2011 - Following the latest internal review of the Gas Safety (Management) Regulations 1996 (GSMR) by HSE and due to the introduction by the Government of a new approach to Regulation there are no plans at present to take forward any amendments to the Regulations. HSE will continue to monitor new developments and will update stakeholders of any changes to this decision via the HSE website.
