Distribution networks’ approved replacement programmes 2007 - 2008

  1. Under the Pipelines Safety Regulations 1996, regulation 13A [90KB]PDF document, HSE has approved the replacement programmes in Table 1 for the year April 2007 – end March 2008.
  2. The national target is 3600.1 km.

  1. As part of its monitoring strategy and 5 year intervention plans for the DNs, HSE will carry out mains replacement audits to check that mains are decommissioned in accordance with the policies and procedures in the DNs’ Gas Safety (Management) Regulations 1996 safety cases.

* The Approved programme for South of England Network includes an additional 3km shortfall from 2006 – 7.
