Gas supply - large end users responsibilities

If a gas supply emergency occurs the gas industry will need to act quickly and safely. This action relies on holding correct information for Large End Users of gas, who have individual sites on firm contracts which consume more than 732,000 kWh (25,000 therms) per annum, as they may be asked to stop using gas to help manage the emergency.

Industry has produced an information leaflet to help Large End Users fulfil their responsibilities and this leaflet is available for download from the energywatch website
