Certificate of Approval issued to HSE approved training organisations

Revised guidance for first aid training organisations, incorporating the changes to first aid training, is now available. Full implementation of the changes will start from 1 October 2009. HSE has published responses to common questions about the new training regime.

The changes have required revision of the Certificate of Approval issued to HSE approved training organisations so it covers both first aid at work and emergency first aid at work. The revised schedules are now available. Existing HSE approved training organisations should download these Schedules, which will take effect from 1 October 2009, and keep them with their current Certificate of Approval. From this date, any training organisation applying for a Certificate renewal will be issued with a revised version.
