Falls from height
To further promote HSE’s award winning Shattered Lives Campaign we launched the Ladder Exchange Initiative on 1st September 2009 intended to help reduce the number of deaths and injuries resulting from falls from height.
Falls from height remain the most common kind of workplace fatality. We will be maintaining the momentum of our successful Shattered Lives Campaign through 2008/09 by introducing a range of new initiatives.
WAIT will help you choose the safest type of access equipment, if you need to work at height. It is especially useful if you are self employed or a manager or supervisor of a small or medium sized enterprise.
