HSE and The British Sign & Graphics Association are holding a free safety and health awareness day, which will look at health and safety in the sign manufacturing and installation industry.

Event overview

The event will feature demonstrations of access equipment, as well as talks on:

• working at height;
• manual handling, which will be given by Diane Etchell from HSE;
• managing COSHH;
• managing competence for working at height; and
• producing risk assessments and method statements.

There will also be a range of exhibition stands and free prize draws at the end of both the morning and afternoon sessions.
