Occupational health and safety advice for people working in the docks industry

According to HSE RIDDOR data for water transport, between April 2003 and March 2008 seven people were killed, 449 suffered a major injury and 1850 were off work for more than 3 days because of work related injury. In addition to this, 5 people were killed, 287 suffered a major injury and 1909 were off work for more than 3 days because of a work related injury in cargo handling in all modes of transport.
