Summary

1. This document (CD) contains proposals for amendments to two Approved Codes of Practice (ACoPs) which currently support the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations (CAW). To help the reader, the document is split into two sections. Section 1 concentrates on the proposed amendments to L27 The control of asbestos at work (proposed to be re-titled Work with asbestos which does not normally require a licence.) Section 2 concentrates on the proposed amendments to L28 Work with asbestos insulation, asbestos coating and asbestos insulating board.
