Proposals for the implementation of transportable pressure equipment directive (TPED)

Introduction

This consultative document (CD) sets out the Health and Safety Commision's (HSC) proposals for implementing Council Directive 1999/36/EC on transportable pressure equipment (TPED). It includes:

1. a set of proposed regulations - the tranportable Pressure Equipment regulations 200- (TPER - Annex 1); and
   
2. a document setting out the draft arragements for the appointment of the inspection bodies required by TPER (Annex2)
