Introduction to the proposals

This Consultative Document seeks comments on new Regulations proposed by the Health and Safety Commission to further amend the Chemicals (Hazard Information and Packaging for Supply) Regulations 1994 (CHIP)(S.I. 1994/3247). The new Regulations will be known as the Chemicals (Hazard Information and Packaging for Supply)(Amendement) Regulations 1999 (CHIP 99).
