CD225 legislation to transpose the directive on the identification and traceability of explosives for civil uses
This joint consultation by HSE and the Northern Ireland Office (NIO) concerns the proposed legislation transposing the European Commission Directive 2008/43/EC on the Identification and Traceability of Explosives for Civil Uses. This consultation also includes Northern Ireland and the NIO intends using this consultation for the purposes of drafting equivalent Northern Ireland Regulations and will not undertake a separate formal consultation. CD222 - Proposal for a European Regulation concerning the placing on the market and use of biocidal products
HSE seeks comments on a proposed European Regulation for placing on the market and use of biocidal products. Once in force (scheduled for January 2013), the European Regulation would directly act on all Member States, including the UK and would replace the Biocidal Products Directive 98/8/EC. Consultation started on 27 July 2009 and ended on 5 October 2009.
