Construction Infonet - April 2007

Welcome to the latest edition of Construction Infonet.

Construction Infonet is a free e-Bulletin from the Health and Safety Executive to provide a regular update on health and safety issues for all in the construction industry.

Firstly we would like to thank the previous editor, Philip Poynter, for all his hard work to create and build the Construction Infonet from a local service to a national e-bulletin with over 17,000 subscribers. For those who know Philip you may be pleased to hear that he hasn’t left HSE but has decided to focus on his role as a frontline Construction Principal Inspector in HSE’s Luton office.

The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 (CDM 2007) came into force on 6 April 2007 and this edition will point you to the main sources of information about the new regulations to be found on HSE’s website.
