| Salary | The maximum of the pay range for this post is currently £77,499. Successful applicants will be offered a point on the salary scale, appropriate to the level of their experience and skills, within the range £67,213 - £71,915. Aberdeen posts will receive an additional Aberdeen allowance of £13,000 per annum. The role includes travel offshore for which there are additional allowances. |

One post will be based in the Northern inspection team and the other will be based in the Southern inspection team. A significant proportion of the work in both posts involves the offshore diving industry.
The post will include offshore travel and the candidate must be able to satisfy the UK offshore medical and survival training requirements. The work will require some travel within Great Britain as well as possible travel to offshore installations the latter being by helicopter. Other travel will involve nights away and you should expect to spend some time away from home.
