RoSPA Young drivers at work project
Study aimed at helping 17-24 aged drivers stay safe when driving for work.
Please help The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents with their research study into the safety issues surrounding young drivers on the road as part of their job.
The study is aimed at helping young drivers (17-24) to stay safe when they are driving for work. To do this, RoSPA needs to hear the views of businesses that employ young drivers who use the road for work.
There is an online questionnaire for employers to complete, deadline for entries 31 December 2008.
The questionnaire will take around 10 minutes and you shouldn't need to search for information to answer the questions. It mainly asks about:
- how suitable you have found the driving test is at preparing young people for at-work driving,
- whether additional qualifications would be recognised and utilised by employers, and
- what may help employers improve the safety of their young drivers.
None of the responses will be attributed to you or your organisation.
The result of the project will be a free report published on the RoSPA website which can be used by employers and road safety professionals to help develop resources and understand the issues better. The work will also help to inform the DSA's strategy towards post-test learning for young at-work drivers and Lifelong Driver Development in general.
