The International Safety Awards Presentation Banquet

The British Safety Council is now accepting applications for its annual International Safety Awards which are intended to recognise and reward organisations from across the globe that have shown a clear commitment to improving corporate health and safety performance and reducing injury and ill-health in the workplace. The closing date for applications is 31 March 2009.

The award is acknowledged by the HSE as a strong motivator for improving health and safety and the achievement of high standards. Winning organisations can benefit in a number of ways, including enhanced reputation with customers and stakeholders and being seen as industry leader and exemplar of good health and safety.

The winners of the International Safety Awards will be able to celebrate their achievements at magnificent banquet being held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane, Central London, on the evening of Friday 15 May 2009. The evening will commence with the award presentations followed by a four course meal and superb entertainment including a spectacular cabaret. The ISA banquet is a fitting event to mark the success of winning organisations in driving improvements to health and safety in their workplaces.
