Run in conjunction with the Dutch Occupational Hygiene Society and the Occupational Hygiene Society of Ireland. The event will cover key occupational hygiene issues within the three broad themes of using evidence, physical agents, and recognition and control of exposures.

 

HSE and HSL specialists will be taking part in the event and covering key issues:

• decontamination of asbestos enclosures
• dermal exposure assessment and control
• using human factors evidence
• exposures to microbiological agents from recycling and composting

Submissions describing recent research relevant to the conference topics are invited, at this stage in the form of a short one-page proposal or abstract submitted by 31 October 2007.
