Introduced by Brian Nimick (Chief Executive of The British Safety Council), the main aims of the conference are:

• To better understand the problems businesses face obtaining health and safety advice.
• To gather and discuss views regarding the regulation of health and safety practitioners.

A panel of experts, including the conference keynote speaker Judith Donovan CBE (HSE Board member and Chair of HSE's Small Business Trade Association Forum), will discuss the need for SMEs to access health and safety advice; the BSC’s position regarding the introduction of statutory requirements and additional regulation; and other related topics.
