Asbestos Contaminated Land Seminar

SCI, 14-15 Belgrave Square, London, SW1X 8PS: February 25 – 10:00-17:00

The UK has a legacy of former industrial sites that are potentially contaminated with asbestos leaving future occupants at possible risk of exposure. This seminar will examine problems in assessing the risk of asbestos – is there asbestos, where is it, how much is there, and how do we assess future risk?

Organised by the BOHS London & South East Region the seminar will bring together speakers from industry, HSL, the Environment Agency and IOM, and international technical experts to discuss issues surrounding potential asbestos contamination. The seminar programme will address the need for a cooperative approach between the HSE and the Environment Agency, and will provide necessary background on the issues involved and offer a platform for discussion and debate.

Further details and how to book

The cost of the seminar, including lunch, refreshments and VAT, is just £50 for BOHS members or £70 for non-members.
