In Wales

The Welsh Assembly Government is progressing arrangements to enable HSE to take over the responsibility for inspections and licensing for laboratories in Wales.  However, the formal arrangements are not yet in place and so currently, all SAPO licensing and inspection is the responsibility of the Welsh Assembly Government.
