1 The Genetically Modified Organisms (Contained Use) Regulations 2000 require notification of administrative and other changes (which do not affect the risk assessment) to previously notified information. Unlike the notification of significant changes, there is no fee.
2 You need to inform the Competent Authority when changes occur to such notified information as:
3 Updating such information can normally be done by means of a
letter or e-mail. Personal details are automaticlly confidential
under the Data Protection Act. There is no need to claim
confidentiality. For other details, normal rules of disclosure
apply unless a claim for confidentiality and the justification for
it are accepted by the Competent Authority.
