This database contains the details of the products that have UK authorisations/registrations under the UK Biocidal Products Regulations (UK BPR) or the EU Biocides Regulations (EU BPR). Authorisation/registration may at any time be subject to amendment or revocation.
This searchable database contains details of the Certificate of Exemptions issued for product authorisation applications currently being evaluated under the UK Biocidal Products Regulations (UK BPR) and for products being withdrawn (phased out) from the UK market under the UK BPR. Certificates of Exemption may at any time be subject to amendment or revocation.
Once an active substance has been evaluated by the Rapporteur Member State and other Member States have been consulted, a decision will be made on whether the substance can be accepted for Approval entry.
A list of the active substances Included onto Article 9 Union List of Approved Active substances of the EU Biocides Regulation (EU BPR) can found on the EU Commission website.
A copy of the final assessment report for each active substance can also be found on the EU Commission website.
This searchable database lists the active substances which have a positive Approval decision. It presents important dates which now apply to products containing theses active substances in the relevant product type, (including those products already approved under the UK Control of Pesticides Regulations (COPR)), and for applying for authorisation in the UK under EU BPR.
It does not provide links to the BPD Annex I Inclusion or EU BPR approval decisions; these can be found on the EU Commission website.
According to Article 95 any person who wishes to place an active substance on its own or in biocidal product on the EU market needs to submit to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA):
