Sit up and listen

Any drummer will tell you that sitting for long periods of time in a fixed position making only small but repetitive movements can lead to muscle fatigue, discomfort or even injury and pain. Setting up your workstation is just as important; you need to comfortable when you work. Choosing the right chair for the job can help, especially if it supports your lower back. And whatever you do, don’t stay seated for too long. Get up and move around. Staying active is a great way to minimise the risk of  back pain.
