Terms of engagement

Training providers are invited to pledge free hours of asbestos awareness training, in blocks of hours that add up to a complete course. These courses are to be delivered between 3rd October and 25th November.

All pledges must be received by HSE, containing all the required details, by Friday 30th September.

Any training provider who pledges to deliver free hours of training must ensure that the tradesperson sitting the course completes the evaluation form. This form must be returned to HSE as soon as possible after the course is completed.

Training providers accept that their involvement in the initiative does not indicate endorsement of their company, products or service by HSE and should not be stated as such.

Training providers wishing to publicise their involvement in the pledge should look to ensure that any media publicity fits with the objectives and messaging of the initiative.
