A new suite of health and safety qualifications aimed at reducing the unacceptable level of accidents and ill health in the industry are now available with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points for National Register of Spray Operator (NRoSO) members.
Working closely with the HSE, awarding bodies NPTC and Lantra Awards have collaborated to produce this unique package targeting agriculture and horticulture. The qualifications are now available at three levels and so will be of interest to sprayer operators, general farm/horticultural workers, self-employed farmers, supervisors and managers.

NRoSO members who attend recognised VQ training courses for either the level 2 or level 3 VQs will be eligible for 12 CPD points. Those who successfully pass the assessments will be awarded 4 CPD points at each level.
