About HSE
The Committee should bring its experience of and influence in the industry to bear to identify future trends and to reflect the health and safety priorities of their respective organisations.
In partnership with HSC/E, to develop a strategy for reducing ill health and injury and to improve occupational health and rehabilitation provision in Agriculture and the land-based industries.
To act as a catalyst for change and to deliver through its project/working groups the Committee's work plan, which contributes to HSC/E’s Injuries Reduction Programme.
To encourage their organisations and the wider rural community to adopt, promote and support policies and initiatives agreed by the Committee.
To disseminate advice and best practice throughout the rural community
To translate and disseminate the Commission’s priorities to its constituencies;
