4 Divide into 4 syndicate groups to discuss elements of the Future Work of ACTS
5 Syndicate groups report back on elements of Future Work of ACTS
Items: 3 - 5: ACTS considered and discussed issues that will inform the development of a strategic work plan that will bring about real improvements in the workplace arising from exposure to toxic substances. Secretariat were tasked to take away the syndicate and committee discussions, theme the ideas that have emerged and propose priorities for the new work plan.

Items 8 - 10: ACTS used its expertise to try and identify emerging issues that will inform HSC's development of a Strategic Plan for 2004 and beyond, in relation to the regulation of toxic substances in the workplace.

A presentation on Individual Susceptibilities, the starting point for which was an Institute of Environment and Health report on Variability and Susceptibility in Human Response to Occupational Exposure to Chemicals in the UK, commissioned by HSE.
