HSE - Shipbuilding and Ship-Repairing Health and Safety Consultative Committee

The main aim of the SSHSCC is to improve health and safety standards in shipyards primarily by sharing good practice and keeping members abreast of health and safety developments.

Membership of the SSHSCC includes representatives from ship yards; Trade Unions and organisations with an interest in the industry; including the Shipbuilders and Shiprepairers Association, the Ministry of Defence, the Engineering Marine Training Authority, and the Marine Painting Forum.
