The Board:

1. reviewed and confirmed the minutes of the 131st meeting
2. noted HSE revised arrangements for the Board Secretariat
3. discussed and agreed amendment to the HSE Criteria for Qualification for coal mines
4. received details of EU legislative requirements in respect of age related conditions
5. received an update on the progress with the inhalable dust in coal mines legislation
6. noted HSE approval of the Aberpergwm Craft Apprenticeship Scheme for Electri-cians 
7. noted the dates of future meeting for 2004.
