The main aim of the Engineering Industry Noise Task Group is to improve the control of exposure to noise within the Engineering Sector.
To achieve this the Task Group is seeking to develop best practice guidance for employers, employees and equipment suppliers. Membership of the Task Group includes the Health and Safety Executive, trade unions, individual engineering companies, noise and vibration consultants, the Engineering Employers Federation, the Confederation of British Metalforming, the Association of British Insurers and other trade associations and trade bodies. Membership of the committee is open to anybody with an interest in noise in engineering.
