   • The Committee noted Mines Rescue Service staffing levels and service

   • The Committee noted the trends in accidents and ill health in the coal mining industry
7. Progress on interconnection of ATEX and non ATEX equipment
   • The Committee considered progress towards development of a system for risk assessment of the interconnection of ATEXand non ATEX equipment
