HSE is committed to capturing and taking forward the health and safety learning legacy from the London 2012 Games. HSE will be communicating the lessons learned to sectors, including construction, praising the good practice to encourage them to 'raise the bar' on health and safety standards.
As part of HSE's commitment, a jointly-funded a number of research projects, focusing on the Olympic Park and Athletes' Village construction project, have been commissioned.
Good practice case studies, which demonstrate some of the practical solutions used to manage health and safety during the 'big build', are also available.
