The coalition government has made a commitment "to ensure a safe and successful Games and... to deliver a genuine and lasting legacy". HSE has worked closely with dutyholders on the London 2012 project, which has an exemplary safety record to date, and is part of a team working to carry through this high performance right through to the Games.
