There have been several reviews of health and safety in the last few years: Common Sense, Common Safety; Good Health and Safety Good for Everyone; and Reclaiming health and safety for all (led by Professor Löfstedt).
Implementing the recommendations for legislative reform is a significant part of our business plan.
All three reviews contained recommendations, some of which HSE leads on. The purpose of this page is to provide a central point for information about each review and the progress and ongoing work by HSE.
Reports on the progress being made in implementing the recommendations of the Löfstedt Report and "Common Sense, Common Safety" are available on the Department for Work and Pensions website, including Professor Löfstedt's report on progress implementing his recommendations.
