About HSE
The Health and Safety Commission (HSC) and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) are world leaders in reducing and regulating the risks to health and safety arising from work activity.
Our mission is to protect people's health and safety by ensuring risks in the changing workplace are properly controlled. As a result we receive many requests for visits from all over the world. In order to achieve our aim our resources are concentrated on delivering our strategy so visits are not always possible. However, the HSE does support the dissemination of good practice information throughout the international community and has made available a comprehensive resource of publications and information on this web site.
Should you wish to visit us to learn more, please submit your request on the form below. This should be done at least 8 weeks before any intended visit. You should NOT make travel arrangements to visit HSE until you receive confirmation that we are able to meet your request. If your request to visit is accepted, there should be a period of 6 weeks between the acceptance and the date of the visit. This allows time for internal consultation and the assignment of resources within HSE to ensure that the aims of the meeting are met fully.
