Assessing the EU’s impact on the UK: a review of the balance of competences

The Government is carrying out a review of the balance of competences between the EU and the UK. This is an audit of what the EU does and how it affects the UK. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills will lead on a joint report on workplace health and safety, and consumer protection in the fourth semester, Spring - Autumn 2014. When HSE is ready to issue its call for evidence on the workplace health and safety report we will publish it here and it will also be announced on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website.
