Eurosafe (the European Association for Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion) have released water safety guidelines for a range of service providers.
The guidance is available at: Eurosafe Publications & Resources. While some of the guidance may not be directly applicable to a UK provider the document does contain some useful general advice for a non-specialist provider together with interesting statistics and evidence from Europe and elsewhere.
