An analysis of the application of HELA circular 67/1 (revised) by local authorities and the development of indicative hazard/risk scores for generic premises types

To investigate the current use of the Priority Planning Local Authority Circular (LAC) 67/1 (revised) within local authorities, to indicate strengths and possible problem areas in operating the system, and to review the application of the current guidance. The project also aimed to investigate the development of possible indicative hazard/risk scores for generic premises types in an attempt to establish benchmark scores for a sample of the Local Authority enforced sector.
