There are a number of published European Machinery Safety standards relevant to the papermaking and conversion processes. BS EN 1034 Safety requirements for the design and construction of paper making and finishing machinery –
EN 1010 – 5 - Machines for the production of corrugated board and machines for the conversion of flat and corrugated board this is in force as a European Standard but is still to be published as a British Standard.
