The Ageing and Life Extension Inspection Programme, also known as Key Programme 4 (KP4), was launched to the offshore industry in Aberdeen on 28 July 2010. The event, which was held at the Ardoe House Hotel, received strong interest from the industry from the outset and was attended by approximately 110 external delegates. It was directed primarily at duty holder senior managers responsible for ensuring installation integrity and other stakeholders, including the trade associations and verification bodies, and was chaired by Steve Walker, head of HSE’s Offshore Division.
