1. Introduction

Section 2.12 (et al) of the Business Management Manual refers to the many working interfaces between ONR and other Agencies or Government Departments. In some cases the basis of the working interface is defined by a memorandum of understanding, a concordat or a similar written agreement. This annex provides information on where the texts of relevant agreements may be found.

Most agreements of general interest to HSE can be accessed through the HSE website at the 'about us' page. This includes some, but not all nuclear-specific agreements.
MoUs between HSE and the then DTI on civil nuclear security and on nuclear safeguards, agreed on 29 March 2007, can be found on the HSE website at the following pages: Memorandum of Understanding between the Health and Safety Executive and the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry on Civil Nuclear Security and Memorandum of Understanding between the Health and Safety Executive and the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry on Nuclear Safeguards respectively.
Information on the General Agreement with MoD and Annex B of this Agreement dealing with nuclear matters is contained in G/INS/004 on Regulation of Weapons and Naval programme Activity, found in the BMM.
