As an employer do you know all you need to know?

HSE is hosting a free event to promote the benefits of quality health surveillance in dealing with the ill health effects of noise and hand arm vibration (HAV) exposures and the contribution health surveillance can make to risk management.

Environmental Protection UK will begin planning and preparations for their campaign later in the year, so if you have any comments or ideas you'd like to feed in please get in touch with them. You can also sign up to their mailing list, and be kept up to date with future developments.

Noise Action Week is an annual initiative coordinated by Environmental Protection UK that aims to raise awareness of the problems caused by neighbour noise and the solutions available to tackle it. It provides an opportunity for local authorities, housing providers, mediation services and all those involved in neighbour noise management to raise awareness of services available and promote practical solutions.

Environmental Protection UK Noise Action Week 2010 (26 - 30 April) will provide the perfect opportunity to:
