Emergency search / rescue underway.
At approximately 3:00am on Tuesday 28 April 2009, HSE was informed that a male worker at the Beryl Alpha offshore platform had been reported missing.
A body has now been found, but it is yet to be identified. The cause of the incident is not yet known.
HSE is monitoring the situation closely.

A full scale emergency search and rescue response with police and the other emergency services is currently underway. HSE is liaising closely with ExxonMobil and the emergency services.
