Liaison with the workplace
Where it suspected that an element of the work organisation is affecting the presence of ULDs it is recommended that there is liaison between health professionals and management. The patient and employer should be advised if a work related condition is suspected so that they can work together to take steps to minimise further aggravation of symptoms.
