Behaviour Based Safety - How to Improve Health & Safety Culture

At this event, delegates will hear from leading experts about the challenges associated with health and safety on a major infrastructure project and how accidents of all types are being reduced due to new methods of training and engagement.

Delegates will gain insights into the importance of a safe working environment from the office to the construction site and will hear about how to engage the workforce with behavioural safety.

    Richard and Julie will outline the development of Interserve Construction’s safety system, its roll out and the intended outcomes.
  • Lee Fisk, Safety & Environment Product Developer, ConstructionSkills.
    Lee will outline his experience following 23 years in the industry and how he is now using this knowledge to further improve H,S&E publications and products to help everyone better understand how best to stay safe and healthy on site.
  • Jane Hopkinson, Senior Psychologist, Health and Safety Laboratory.
    Jane will discuss the HSL’s approach to behavioural change including key ideas on its successful implementation.
  • Facilitated Group Discussion.
