A range of free leaflets providing advice and guidance are available:

Metal working fluids

Metalworking fluids

Metal working fliuids (MWF) are used extensively in the engineering industries for lubricating and cooling during machining. MWF comes into contact with the skin. Used fluids can also give rise to respiratory ill health if they become contaminated and if the fine mist produced during processing is inhaled.
